1. All participants in “Community” Sleep Outs must be aged 18+.
  2. If you are organising your own Sleep Out which includes anyone under the age of 18 years old, please ensure that you have completed all the necessary child safeguarding measures.
  3. Events are for registered participants only – please do not invite friends, family (including children), colleagues, or bring pets (with the exception of guide dogs) to the event.
  4. You will be taking part in Galway Simon’s Sleep Out for Simon at your own risk. Galway Simon Community cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to personal effects, for personal accidents, for injury or loss to third parties.
  5. This is a fundraising event, and we ask you to aim to raise a minimum of €250 per individual, €1,500 per Community Group or €2,500 per Corporate Group. Please ensure we have received all sponsorship money by 16th October 2023.
  6. Please arrive at the event at 6pm on Friday 6th October and check in with Galway Simon staff at the registration desk.
  7. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are healthy enough for an overnight sleep out. Please seek medical advice if needed.
  8. It is your responsibility to dress and prepare appropriately for the event with layers of warm clothing, a warm outdoor sleeping bag, a mat/cardboard for insultation, as this is an outdoor event.
  9. If organising your own Sleep Out it is your responsibility to choose a safe and secure location for you or your team to sleep out overnight.
  10. Drugs and alcohol are not permitted during the event. Any participant believed to be under the influence will be required to leave the event.
  11. By publicly posting images, videos, or any other multimedia content, or by sharing same with us by email, you are consenting to their use by Galway Simon Community for marketing purposes.
  12. Please do not post or share multimedia content of people without their permission or without the permission of their parent/guardian.
  13. You must comply with all instructions and directions from Galway Simon Community staff. Failure to do so may result in you being required to leave the event.
