TEAM INTUITY TECHNOLOGIES TAKE THE VIRTUAL SLEEP OUT CHALLENGE

This year, the team at Intuity Technologies are taking part in the Virtual Sleep Out for Simon!

Read our latest interview with Siobhan, Group Marketing Manager, as she speaks about their involvement this year.

How did team Intuity Technologies get involved in this year’s Virtual Sleep Out for Simon?

We were approached by Galway Simon and we invited our wider team to get involved and we were delighted with the response.

Where will you and your team be virtually sleeping out this year?

We will all be in our back gardens, some of us are getting all of the family involved and there are a few getting together in one garden and we even have one who might be spending the night in a tree house!

What are you most looking forward to about taking part with your colleagues?

We are really enjoying the fundraising at the moment and we are hoping to keep raising our target as it gets more competitive closer to the time.

We are also taking bets on who will be the most grumpy when it gets super late – we have a few sleep-deprived new Dads on the team so there are a couple of potential winners.

What is your team’s fundraising target?

At the moment it is €3,000 – we hope to raise this and more if we can.

Have you any exciting plans/ideas to help reach this target?

We are planning a virtual coffee morning in the coming weeks and hope to do something else also, we are still brainstorming this at the moment

What are you personally most looking forward to for this year’s Virtual Sleep Out?

I am planning on having the whole family outside so one of the biggest focal points for us will be to see if George, our big slobbery dog will join us in the tent!

Why do you think other businesses and community groups should sign up to take part together?

We are very proud to be taking part in the Virtual Sleep Out. Galway Simon are a very worthwhile charity doing great work for our most vulnerable at such a difficult time. We would encourage anyone who can, to get involved to support such a great cause.

Would you like to take part with your work colleagues, friends, family, or teammates?
